my new truck

My '85

Just picked this thing up last week. I just traded in my 2004 6" lang armed Rubicon for a 2006 duramax diesel. Now that i had a diesel i want to make a trail rig and this 1 had some of the goodies i wanted. But 1 problem i know nothing about the older trucks. Well this thing came with a complete efi system off a '87 22re. So i parked it in the garage and started tearing it down. I have been looking for write ups with pictures but cant find any. Anyone know where i can get this info on the efi swap write up. I have been watching this site for a wile in hopes to transform my 01 4runner but would rather have something i can trash and trailer back

Thanks in advance
Randy

Yep, looks like the real wheels in photo one are hitting the wells. Better look into this if going off road.

So far it has the rears up front with all pro cross-over steering ford ranger spring in the back 14" bilstiens. Hopefully by spring it will have 4:88's and a new inchworm transfer case, longfields and lockers

Thanks
