88 22r odd sometimes erratic idle

hey guys my truck has been acting funny the past couple of days. In the morning (temps around 55) it will crank and run fine all the way to work about 12 miles. Then when i go to lunch around 1pm (temps around 80)she will crank fine but on the way to the restaurant when sitting at stoplights she idles and putters and acts like shes gonna die unless i pat the gas. And she also backfires every now and then. But then at 5 she is hard to crank but somewhere between the office and home it gets better and by the time i pull in the driveway shes idling fine. Any ideas whatsoever as to my problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I also have recently replaced all the vacuum lines, plugs, wires and rebuilt the carb.

Yotapup: Carbed = no TPS or IAC

Sounds like problems I've been having ever since I put a new carb on. Check the linkages on the back. Mine seem to be hanging up ever so slightly when it's halfway warm.

Nothing specific, but if it will still idle while it's giving you problems, go and poke around and make sure things can move smoothly like they should... see if the choke is stuck on, or anything else looks amiss.
