Question Big Tires On A Stock 95 4runner

hey all
i just got my first yota, a 95 4runner. my question is will 31 x 10.5 tires fit a stock suspension and 16 " wheels????

They dont make 33x10.5 for a 16" wheel. You could run a 285/75/16 which would be about a 33x11.5 or a 265/75/16 which would be about a 32x10.5. It depends what backspacing the wheels are though, with a 285 you would need a small lift. I think you could get away with no lift and 265's if you wanted to go that route. I'm sure others will chime in. I run a 32x11.5 with about 3.5-3.75" backspacing and I rub at full lock going in and out of my driveway. If I ran those tires on stock backspacing I'm sure I'd be fine.

sniff sniff.... smell that..... yep its a newbie fest

use that button labeled search.. you will find your answer, many many many, and a few more times....

31' were a stock option, but 31's come on a 15" rim....

thanks for the input fellas, i am running 265/75 16 on it now. with no problem. so i guess my question was answered. okay i got another newbie question, what is the backspacing , some of you mentioned????
