Ok, I got some new rocker arms (on ebay) and installed them yesterday, and now that I test fitted them there not center? Are 22RE and 22R rocker arms the same? Geez its times like this I wish I had a micrometer! Thanks for your input guys. BTW they are not torqued to the head...

Rocker arms are made by Ultra-8 performance or altrom Part # 056 6022A (supposedly "Alloy Japan make")

x2 all the r series i have had apart are like that and even other motors too. as long as its not on the keepers and some what on the valve its ok... If it bugs you a lot i do remember there are shims.. just can remember what site..

There is some misalignment in all of them, we use bronze shim stock, we just make them with scissors on the ones we set up inhouse. Probably being overly fussy but it seems to work....*EB
