After the whole "buying a new battery for my camera because a boom truck ran it over." I got pics from the inside of my camper.

Yes, it is off the truck due to some mishaps with the air bags, I'm hoping that it won't happen again.

anyways:

solar panel (50 watts)

pop the top:

inside view

pots, pans, and cans have storage in the bed of the truck but since it's off the truck now... that's where it is. I plan on building some more storage, a sink, and something else that i don't know yet

view of my exit.

view of part of the couch

couch bed

storage under couch

the heat

really bad pano (that's what i get for having 28mm (w/ 1.5 crop factor) for my shortest glass but it is of the queen size slide out bed that goes partially over the cab.

one more:

I'm 5'8" so with the 6' height on the inside, it's plenty for me.

Standing on a boom truck that was used in a parade, went to check the battery, dropped it, it fell between the bed and the cab and then it got ran over by the truck (all eight tires)

Wow, that is a lot different from my 1993 model. The wood in yours is much nicer. Is the refrigerator, sink and stove optional?

Here's how mine compared:

it was just the battery, not the camera. I've got a D70 and if that thing was destroyed, that would suck more balls than a 50 year old whore.

Could've used one of those at Big Bear this year

Looks great David. I'm interested to see what it looks like on your truck. What's the issue with your airbags?

driver's side failed, so I ordered a replacement bag (100 clams) put it on, and 3 miles down the road it failed again.

Talked to the company, the suspect was a mounting piece for the air bag, so they sent me a new bag, and new mounting hardware. So, hopefully i can get that fixed.

They offer the "shell" model now that has nothing in it, and you can add certain features to it. I added the couch/bed, the furnace, the camper jacks, solar panel, and the insulation pack that goes on the inside of the pop up part to help keep it warmer during the winter.

Awesome, dood! Very, very cool. That setup will make back country escapes just a bit more civilized... I'm stoked for ya, and just a wee bit jealous!

Sweet dude. I know this has been a long time coming.

Bagged rear, self contained camper, what about extra fuel for the truck?
