AllPro Sliders & Bumper Bar

well i finally got my sliders and bumper bar from allpro.. prepped, painted and installed w/ a friends help!
they look great
we had to drill the sliders mounting holes out some in order to get them all to line up.. but thats alright my only beef about the sliders is that the mounting plate isn't a "U" that goes around the frame.. it just mounts up to the outside frame rail sooo that could possibly lead to a bent/dent/whatever frame rail.

now i have to get my winch in my bumper, my lights on teh bumper bar and roof, and my CB installed

Lookin' good Una.

What CB do you have, or intend on getting?
I did not want to part with my huge honker I bought back around '99, as it has a built in SWR meter and is also pumping out a healthy 25 watts.

I borrowed the same location I had in my 4Runner, the glovebox.
Check out my webpage below, then click on FJ Cruiser Mods and you can scroll down to see how it looks on the glove box.

It is totaly out of the way of passengers legs too.
The only thing I will do is put another mic mount somewhere so the mic is closer to me, and does not hang down on the passengers legs.

The stock shovel for a skid plate is starting to bug me. I think when I get some serious time I'm going to design a better one. The bolts holding it up don't even have any protection to keep them from getting smashed. Besides, the stock plate is so far away from the truck, it looks un-natural. Corey I'll let you know when I have something for ya on this. On my next scheduled break I'm going to take my skid plate down and design something hard core.

Oh yeah, your land cruiser looks great OFR_GRL.

off road gal , can you take some pics from up above the the sliders , i want to see how far out they stick.
and if they do stick out to far for my taste , do you tihnk it is going to be possible to cut back the bars to make them get in a bit farther. i like the actual design but i dont want them out too far, and in the process of doing this i would plan to make an l shaped attachment bracket , i have a feeling some hard sliding and your sliders will be up in your door . check out coreys mod page to see how well his brand are gusseted and such , i like his attachments and the all pros shape . thanks.
