Question Factory winch and grill guard?

Does anyone know anything about the factory winch and grill guard that was on option on 86-95 Hilux surfs. I am guessing that this was probably an overseas option. I am looking at one and I was wondering what the winch is rated for ect... If these winches are reliable, that would be cool to have. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks,
Chris

Oh yeah, I have searched, but it just pulled up every post with Toyota factory and winch in it, so you can imagine how many posts there were.

I found some info on ih8mud and I looked at the winch more closely. It says 1500kg (little over3,000 pounds). Why would they offer such a small winch from the factory?

Get a Warn. The amount of money you may save won't be worth it if it can't get you out.
And the factory grill gard? It's just for looks. blink blink.

This is the one that I was looking at.

I was thinking eventually I would have it fabbed into a full front bumper. It would be a kind of factory/ custom hybrid. I just can't believe that the little winch was on option. I am actually not in the market for a winch or bumper, I just happened to run across this. I agree its not worth it if it so tiny.

TDubbs, I haven't been to Pismo very much. I always thought it was too crowded, but after this last weekend with yotatech there, I will be going more often. Shoot me a pm if you are ever in the area.
