other engine swaps besides 3.4?

what other engine swaps are avalible besides the 3.4? I've read a bunch of different things and just wondered what the word was.
I have an auto tranny which makes the 3.4 swap a bit complicated, so I wondered what my other options are.

thanks.

whats up joel?! how are things bro?

other possible swaps are the 1UZ Lexus 4.0L V8. SuperRunner on Pirate is producing a kit for this swap: THREAD HERE you can also go with something domestic, like a GM 4.3L V6, GM smallblock, Ford smallblock... Advance Adapters has stuff for those swaps.

i remember seeing lots of mustang 5.0 installs in trucks and tacos over at another forum (which one exactly escapes me). always thought of doing that... it would be so sweet, but for the price and work id be better off getting a new vehicle.

Except those are long, car engines.

The best Toyota truck motor made, for ease of instal, power upgradability, etc. is the 3.4

I have a swapped truck and love it.

You can swing 300 HP pretty easily.

Napoleon hit the next wave. The 3RZ in place of tired 22RE's is the next big thing.

Where did you get the motor and trans? Was it a 2WD?
Out of what? Yr. Model?
I would also rather go with the 4.0 and 6 speed.
