I made a post a few weeks ago I was told Blown Head gasket well I have decided to just purchase a reman here locally for 995 plus a new head and differen't cam for a totall of 1300 dollars anybody recommened what else a should put on new or upgrade before I put the new motor in?

 

well since you're going that route I'd go a head with a header instead of an exhaust manifold and a clutch kit which will be lighter than the stock factory clutch. I had an old datsun that I put a Hays and I was very pleased. Also a cold air kit will help with the breathing.

 

where is the reman coming from?

 

i would get a 268 cam from engnbldr

 

Well Im not sure I found one from B&M machinery for 995 not sure if that a good deal or a bad one
