Last night comming home this very loud tapping started that you can feal everywhere. No smoke, oil presure has reduce allotand allot less power.
The tapping is stedy when rpms increase but at idle they are very irregular.
Any thoughts as what it might be? i'm goung to take the valve cover off tommorrow and see if i can tell what the problem is.

only time I've had somthing similair to that was in my 86' yota 22r 2wd. The head swallowed a valve. Couldn't check oil pressure, but lack of power and loud tapping (because the valve couldn't move much).

Lucky enough I had a spare head.
