land cruiser jump seats in 4runner???

So has any one swapped in a set or just one landcruiser third row jumpseats? It doesn't look to hard. I don't know if there is enough room side to side to fit both jump seats, as I'm not sure if the landcruiser is wideer in the rear than a 4runner of the same year. And not sure how you would hook up the seat belt.

Are you asking if you can remove the back seat and install jumpseats on the sides facing eachother like an FJ-40? What year 4runner?

NO install jump seats in the rear like a landcruiser? My 4runner is a 92, that i picked up for next to nothing in excellent shape. But I now need a 6 passenger SUV. And I don't want to get rid of my 4runner. All I need to install is really only one seat, not both. I was wondering if any one had done this.

Not sure if you can fit one in there at all due to the wheel hump in the T4R. I cant remember off the top of my head, but I dont think the LC has that...allowing the jump seat to fit. Dont quote me on that...

Also, is it legal? Im not sure how that works, but safety harnesses are a serious thing in automobiles, and just adding another seat and belt without any kind of factory testing just doesnt seem like it would be allowed.

I also want to know if it fit as well. Earlier, my friend came by with his 91 landcruiser and showed me his factory third row seat. I'm really curious if it will fit into my 94 4R. Anyone done this before?

My guess is they will be too wide... Look into the montero 3re row seats. Same flip down style as the fj80 but narrower.
