JL 12" and Alpine monoblock amp
I'm selling my JL Audio W3v2 12" sub and an Alpine MRD-M301 monoblock amp. The sub is in a custom slot port box that I built to fit between the fenderwells of a 1st gen 4Runner. Its made from 3/4 MDF and covered with grey carpet. The sub is a dual voice coil that has been bridged to run at 2ohm's.
The amp is rated at 275 watts RMS at 2 ohms and the speaker is rated to handle 300 RMS. The amp is all digital and uses buttons and an LED screen to set all parameters.. Its very nice. I think I have all the instructions but Alpine has them online if I cant find them. Just to let you know, I probably won't find them.
This combo hits deep and hard. It sounds super clean but it's to loud for me and I don't want to put the box in my daily driver car. My 4runner is now a trail toy.
I paid 500 for the sub and amp and then 40 and a days worth of work on the box. I'll let all of it go for 325 and I'd prefer not to ship because the box is heavy. Thanks,
Mike
Oh and I'm in Richmond VA

I'll get some pics to you tomorrow. I've been out of town all weekend.
If WVU wants the box and sub, I'll sell the amp to Whorerunner. Sweet name by the way.
Box and sub= $225... got about 300+my time in it, really nice box.
Amp = $125... paid 250 and used it for a year
buyer pays shipping also.
Box and sub weigh at least 50 pounds, so keep that in mind. I really dont want to ship that but will if I need to.
