Where To Find Taillights

Ok, I have looked and looked to find a set of altezza style lights for my 94 4runner. I can find them everywhere for the 94 truck and all other gens of 4 runners but none for the 94 model second gen. Any ideas thanks in advance

I thought of that but didnt think it would work

Thanks for the idea. I had thought of that but after looking at the pics of the lenses on some autoparts websites for both the truck and the runner they didnt quiet look as if they would be the same. Besides that after searching this site a bit I found a few post on the altezza issue and I would think someone wouldve tried it. But I will look into it and actually call the dealership or go there and get the measurements and see how it works out. Thanks.

yeah, I tried the Altezza lights out of my missus's old 91 pickup and they didn't fit.....they kinda lined up on the outside, but weren't wide enough to come in to beside the tailgate.

Don't know why the hell someone doesn't make them but.....they would be so popular if they made up some of the cool designs they make for pickups.....specially the ones in the link above....they'd look awesome!

I think I've seen altezzax for the 94 runner around here. Let me check a place on my way home and I'll get back to you. Aviator

Dont think they are going to happen

I contacted a few of the companies who make the lenses. Matrix, and Ichiban were very professional in theyre responses about the demand for them not being there but not understanding why but they would consider it. Then I followed and earlier post in the forum to contact apc and they were completely rude telling me (Sorry we dont make them for your 4runner and wont make them for your 4runner) that was all the email said. No other words and no professionalizm. However I did get some leads contacting west coast customs and unique autosports. They both have manufacturers who custom make them for the high end cars as one-offs but they are not cheap. One email said probably around the 600 to 800 dollar range. I would almost pay that just to be the only one to have them but Ill post more as the info comes.

Might be in luck.....think I've found someone who sells them in Oz......just waiting to here back from them if they will defiantly fit, if they have any instock, and hopefully a picture of them.....

They have them listed for ---> 4Runner 10/88 - 9/97

They are pricey but....$350 Au.....

Thankfully. Those lights ruin whatever they're on.
