Just joined the LOUD airplane tires club!
I got a pretty good deal on some 33x11.5x16 Nitto Mud Grapplers and jumped on it... I totally forgot about reading that they were loud as heck on pavement... Well... to cut things short... picked them up today, got them mounted... and now my Runner sounds like my very own personal airplane following me around everywhere I go. :X They sure look good though!

31x10.50 SuperSwampers radial TSLs... i'm in the club. depending on speed the noise ranges from "buddaist munks at prayer" to "Cessena prop plane" according to family members

i've got 34" LTBs. the only way you can get a larger tire is if you have boggers.
not to mention they are unbalanced. i've got a feeling that someday i'm gonna need reconstructive wrist surgery, i think all that shaking from the steering wheel is destroying the cartilege in my hands

Cool! I like the sound they make. Hopefully, my next tires will be louder than the ones I'm running now.
The hum/whine of big tires brings me joy.
