Just joined the LOUD airplane tires club!

I got a pretty good deal on some 33x11.5x16 Nitto Mud Grapplers and jumped on it... I totally forgot about reading that they were loud as heck on pavement... Well... to cut things short... picked them up today, got them mounted... and now my Runner sounds like my very own personal airplane following me around everywhere I go. :X They sure look good though!

MT/R's are quiet compared to the Swampers. Good choice there BTW.

Yeah dude, MT/R's are street tires compared to SS's and Krawlers/Mud Grapplers.

i've got 34" LTBs. the only way you can get a larger tire is if you have boggers.

not to mention they are unbalanced. i've got a feeling that someday i'm gonna need reconstructive wrist surgery, i think all that shaking from the steering wheel is destroying the cartilege in my hands

I was in until I bought a set of Revo's. The Destination MT's will sit in the garage until they are needed.

Cool! I like the sound they make. Hopefully, my next tires will be louder than the ones I'm running now. The hum/whine of big tires brings me joy.

The humming is pretty cool when I am driving slow... But on the freeway at 70mph... They get really annoying after awhile... LOL...

I'm in. 285/75/16 BFG Muds. Just screams "Get outta my way ricers!"

FWIW the tires will get louder the more they wear down.

That and the dents on the side of your vehicle.
