I have recently acquired a new (to me) Toyota truck and am going to be doing some mods. to it. Before I do however, I am going to be making numerous posts looking for some help, information, opinions, advice etc. Any and all input is greatly appreciated, thank you! Vitals: 1996 Tacoma, 4x4, X-cab, 3.4L V6, 5 spd.)

While reading the Repair manual procedure for draining and filling the rear differential it gives different capacities for Short wheel base Vs. Long wheel base? How do I know which I have? It IS NOT a long bed but IT IS an extra cab?

you have the long wheelbase. it's the same wheelbase as a doublecab.

regular cabs have the sort wheelbases.
