Is anyone running 32x11.5x15 with the 22re and 4:10 gears and how much power did you loose

Yeah, I'm running that setup, or at least I was over the winter. For wheeling trips I put the 32's back on, but run 235's most of the time on the road. However for wheeling, I have a marlin 4.7 single t/c. You lose about 1/2 a gear from a 235. I doubt you'd lose much going from 31s.

I've run 32x11.50's on my truck for about 200,000 miles now with stock gears and my truck is painfully slow. It still does ok off-road in the lower gears and of course in 4 low, but on the road I get dirty looks from soccer Moms everyday as they pass me. I hold up traffic at 8 out of 10 red lights I pull away from.

Sure looks good though...

I just put on a set of 33x12.50's yesterday.
I can tell the difference but just driving in town isnt to bad.
The power loss really shows it's self out on the highway at the first hill you come to.

On that note, what about power loss with 30 or 31 inchers with a 22-RE?

That's with a 3" body lift...

Trust me on this, it kills the truck. On the highway if its raining or there is a hill the truck slows down dramatically.

It's good for not getting speeding tickets though.

Here's my junk on 32x10.50 with stock suspension up front and a lift shackle in the rear:

I have that same truck. For comparison to that shot with a 3" body lift, here is mine with 225/75-15 tires, and with my old 32x10.50 Swampers off of my beater, and no lift at all:

Did you crank up the torsion bars or do you have a ton of bricks in the back in that pic?

Nice truck btw... Yours looks to be in a little better shape than mine.

The torsion bars were cranked for about 3/4" of lift. It's the angle of the picture, and being parked on a slight hill, that makes it look so low in the back. It actually sits just about level. I only stuck those tires on there for one trip 'cause my beater was undergoing a SAS at the time.
