Req: Limited/Sport Front Mud Flap *Pictures*

They have been discussed over and over again yet no one seems to have pictures of them. I've searched and just can't seem to find any. I want some for my Sport Ed. but don't know if they would look good painted.
Help!

I'm talking about the OEM ones.

I don't think that they exist! I have looked everywhere and cannot find any front mudflaps that fit the limited style bumpers on the 3rd gens. They make ones that fit the normal flares perfectly that everyone gets from Northridge but those will not fit on ours. Seems like if you want some front mudflaps after removing the running boards, you have to do something creative. If you put on Tacoma or generic ones, they still leave the weird little molding fin on the bottom but it is probably better than nothing.

Let me know if you find anything though since I am looking too!

Toyota lists them as an option in the EPC, although at the dealer here they are $80 per side. I beleive they are mistaken, as the picture in the EPC looks like the ones for the earlier 3rd gens, with the slim style flares. I just went to Pep Boys, and bought the $3 universal ones. They look bad, and they curl up when they get hot, bout they keep the road rocks away from the rocker panels. I picked up a few nice rocks, and left some good scratches on 78 by Pennsy out here, that's the only reason I put them on. You can see the latest pics in my sig, for what they look like.

Toyota never made mudflaps for use with the optional SR5 or Sport edition flares. There are good reasons for having them; when I removed my running boards two months ago there were ZERO chips in the paint from flying rocks. Now there are several, so I installed a set of cut-down 1989-1995 Toyota pickup mudflaps.

Here's a shot with the running boards:

And here's with the rock sliders:

The Highlander flares are the smaller black ones and yes Toyota did make mudflaps for those. They don't make them for the optional Sport flares that my SR5 has (same flares as the 2001+ sport edition 4Runners). This holds true for the Limited flares too.
