fan blew up...need V6 parts

Hi all,

My fan blew up...third one too.

Anyway, looking for 1988-1992 3.0L V6 parts:
fan
fan-clutch
fan pulleys
fan-pulley bracket
timing belt cover
radiator
hoses
airbox next to air intake

Any help?

Thank you all, great forum here.

Get a Flex-a-Lite - you will love it. You can control it, it takes a little load off the engine, and it wont blow up (mine did too)

It certainly takes a load off of the engine. But quite a few members (including myself) have had significant over-heating issues associated with the 165. Personally, I have to switch back to the OEM clutch-fan for the summer months.

Besides the summer heat, I think elevation may have something to do with the fan's short comings. If I'm right, you might want to think twice about this purchase ($230 damned dollars), seeing as you live at high elevation.

Good advice- I haven't had any trouble with mine, other than burning up the PCB/thermostat once, as far as cooling.

I agree that the factory fan did a great job (prob better) at cooling, but after mine blew up, I couldn't find used parts, and the new parts were really expensive.

I really wonder what factors cause it to work less effectively...

I'll let tlake know of this thread. I saw the fan mount at his house Monday, and told him about your fan. He said he needs to sell the old stuff (he bought a used engine to replace his) Think he has most the engine stuff
