whats with me and frayed wires??



i have not had to drop the spare since i put it on (its a matching mtr), but i lent it to a club member for a trail run theyre going on today...

it was down to the last 3 out of 8 strands...

whats the cure? how much is this BS gonna cost me?

 

When I had my spare stolen in a parking garage, the thieves cut my cable. I just replaced the whole unit (4 bolts). I can't find the receipt (it has been several years...), but ordered it from one of the discount dealers online (maybe $60-70??).

i found one on ebay for $28 that wasnt sold but is expired... so i contacted the seller..
