i might be getting a used 3-4inch lift from a person i know. SASin his rig. i got the springs already so i think im just going to get the BJ spacers and the coil spring spacers. not sure what the exact size on those are but he ran 33s and im getting those too. my question is what should i look at on a used lift? such as where to check for problems and whatnot? and what else would i need if i was going about 3inches taller than stock. will the driveline and everything be ok or will i need to change something. i plan to regear. i have a 1990 5speed 3.suck the gas up......or 3.0

so nothing? is it a bad idea to buy a used lift. i dont think it was ever really wheeled

 

What brand of lift? How complete is it? Front and rear setup or just front lift? Shocks included too?
