torsion bar on the driver side

I am trying to uncrank a huge torsion crank from my truck that the previous owner put on. I was able to get the passenger side undone (some) but the driver side I can't get enough torque on the bolt and can't get anything bigger or a rachet on it. I read the write up but it doesn't actually say how to do it. thanks. AL

Have you tried using a "cheater?"

Be careful dude, Those bolts can snap and completely unload the suspension. It is recommended that you uncrank it with the car lifted off the ground. That way there is no pressure exerted on the sytem. That will make it easier.

You might also want to try some penetrant on the bolts

It is sitting on jack stands and I have hit it with lubricant for a few days in a row. I can't fit a cheater bar in there to get more leverage.
