The wife called me while at work....4runner was running rough and blowing smoke. I got home and it was hard to start and sputtered then started....blowing a little black smoke....now runs fine....the chk engine light is not on and it is running normal. I put some thr-body cleaner spray trough it and a bunch of black stuff ran back out.

no smoke now????running fine now????it's idleing in the driveway right now???

I'm stumped.....Any ideas?

got the same problem. Check the "smokin" thread - maybe we've got the same issue.
