You might have to replace the transmission.

Never do business with someone who brings up God when they are trying to sell something. You can drink with them, fish with them, boat with them, whatever, but don't do any business with them. You are guaranteed to get screwed. It is the Lord's will.

well, i emailed the guy about the title and he said he doesn't have it he still owes money to bank and they have the title. He didn't even say anything in the discription about this. Your right funjumper I'll say away from people who bring up god. I'll just keep on looking. I found another truck here are afew pics. The only bad about is that it has a salvage title, but that is cool with me. it a 94 with a v6 and auto. I don't like auto much but i can't find any 5 speeds. what do you think she is worth.

It looks decent enough except for the obvios bumber. I personally prefer the 22RE motor. They are far more dependable in my opinion.

If you really want a five speed, you shouldn't have any trouble finding one. There are far more of them around than the automatics. Just look around more.

sometimes you have to sort through a few tempting vehicles before the one youre looking for appears. keep looking, you will find the truck you want.

good luck and keep us updated.

I would ask why the title is a salvage and get the vehicle's history. You don't want a vehicle that's been flooded. There's a lot of them floating around (no pun intended) since Katrina.

well it's up for auction in a few week at a insurance auction, and according to the description is just a crashed salvaged title. They almost always say if it a flood. Most of the flood vehicles are in LA or MS this one is in texas

ummm, how about hurricane rita? landfall on TX/LA border...
even if not, it wouldn't be the first time a wreck was hauled to another state for quick resale... not saying it is a flooded vehicle, btw, just saying it is a distinct possibility. $2500 is cheap.
