Ok, I got a full, new OME suspension thanks to the guys from trdparts4u.com (thx Gumbo and Strap22) and I have no need or my Rancho 9000X shocks that were on the truck.

These all have a lifetime warranty for purchaser and/or INSTALLED ON ORIGINAL VEHICLE.

One shock was bad when I had the new ones installed. I called Rancho Customer Service and was told that any retail location that sells Rancho would accept the bad shock and give me a new one for no charge. I did exactly that so we have 1 brand new front shock and 3 used, warranted shocks for a stock 2nd Gen 4Runner.





Front shock part no. RS 99145 (2 shocks)and rear part no.RS99187 (2 shocks). These will come with a photocopy of my receipt which was not needed when I received the new shock from 4WP. Technically you could have new shocks for life.

I went with the OME as I added the rear coils and there wasnt enough full extended length to work with a lifted rear.


*NOTE: Stock 2nd Gen. 4Runners is what these will work on.*


$320 new for a set of 4, I paid $219 + shipping, and I'm selling for $125 + actual s&h to you.

go under shocks and look for your truck model on or about page 41 of the pdf.

It appears that the fronts (#99145) will work on the 4WD trucks and it calls for #99180 on the rears for trucks and these are #99187. I dont know why they wouldnt work for stock height, but maybe call Rancho tech help (734-384-7804) and see what the differnce is between the 2 models. I'll call to check as well. They were installed on a stock height 1994 4Runner SR5 4WD.

I'll get back to you as soon as I can with the info.

*Well, I checked out the spec sheet and it appears that the difference between the shocks is mounting points. The 99180's have a bushing mount on the upper and lower and the 99187 has a 3/8" stem upper and a bushing mount lower. Can you verify that the rear shocks on your truck are bushing mount upper and lower?*
