Whos using dash mounts for cell phones and other devices? Pics?
Im looking at proclipusa for some mounting solutions for my iaudio x5 and blackberry 7100t in my runner. It would be like $150 for everything I would need to mount them side by side. The x5 mount is custom and has the cable connector built in that is why its so expensive. Im looking to see what others have done and recommend. Pics would be great. Thanks

no, its an adhesive pad. i was concerned at first, but read on a honda forum that a lot of people used them and them heated them up with a heat gun to take them off smoothly and wiped the excess away with goo gone.
that might sound bad, but its really sturdy.

I ordered some clip, don't remember the company that was all metal and bolted into the dash and slid in beside the radio...bolted behind it. Very secure, but it was like $40. I still got it somewhere in my shop I bet. Not sure what years it fits though...it fit my 00 perfectly. It went on the passenger side right beside the radio. Had to remove the center console trim to install it...took 5 minutes.

I bought a Profit Mount to put my plug and play on. Its super easy to install and very sturdy. I bought mine from a vendor on E-bay for $35. Works real well and you can almost mount anything you want on there.
Heres a link from Profit's website that will give you a better idea of what it looks like.
