FJ Cruiser, got the VIN today

My FJ is in production now, woohoo! That's the good news. The bad news is that FJ's will be held at the port until 3/27, official release date, before being shipped to Portland Region dealers. So, it could take another week to process and arrive in my sweaty hands by early April.

The other four regions serviced from Portland (Denver, Chicago, Kansas City and Cincinnati) could conceivably get their FJ's before Portland area dealers, we'll see.

Anyway, that's the latest. I don't need much coffee this morning.

I know this may be a dumb question, but where is the FJ Built because I am trying to get my parents to buy my truck and I can purchase an FJ then, hopefully in 6-10 months this will happen.

Thanks Bob! I ordered the Voodoo Blue, same as my avatar, a new color in the lineup.

Not dumb at all considering how many plants Toyota has worldwide. It's made in Japan, a plus in my book compared to other plants especially in the areas of paint, fit and finish.

Thanks Drew!

Shazad, I bailed on both of those long ago. I replaced the Prius with another to get the much bigger 2006 tax credit totaling $4,650 in my state, and resale is still above MSRP on those around here, so it's a no-brainer this year.
