Lcoation of PCV on 3.0

OK I tried to do a search and just found posts describing how difficult it is to get to the PCV on V6 3.0.

I have a 1994 pickup 4x4 CA (138,000 miles) vehicile and wanted to check if PCV is working ok or not. I know its not on drivers side valve cover. So I looked under intake manifold on passenger side and think I found it about halfway from front/back. Other end of PCV hose goes to fitting on intake right around where the V6 3.0 EFI emblem is on passenger side.

Can anyone confirm this locaiton or have pics ?
I looked at FSM and it says you have to blow air through PCV (both sides) to make sure it is functioning correctly ? Any other way to check it besides pulling it from valve cover ?
thanks

If you take the oil filler cap off while the engine is idling, you should be able to feel a slight vacuum when you cover the open filler hole with your hand. If so, you're PCV is working. If engine fumes are coming out of the filler hole, either the PCV is stuck closed or you have so much blow-by past the rings that the PCV can't handle it all.

Opening the oil fill hole effectively creates a vacuum 'leak'. I noticed that the idle speed of the engine went a little lower.
