Hello all, at some point this spring/summer I plan on fabbing up my own ARB style bull bar for my 84 Runner. Does anyone have pics of the back side of the ARB bull bar? Id like to see how these units mount and are constructed from the back side. Even dimensions would be a big help. Also, if anyone has any fabrication advice for a project like this, Id love to hear it!

Im not looking for an exact match, just some ideas of how others attach so that i can design and fab something on my own. I thought the 1st and second gen frames were the same on the front because they use the same suspension? (for IFS anyways)

 

That bumper pictured appears to be for a 2nd gen IFS truck, and just happens to bolt up to 1st gen IFS trucks too. The 1st gen solid axle truck version is different.


After taking a look at one of my pics, that one above also appears to have been modified. Here's mine before it was involved in an "incident" with the plasma cutter.
