I go out to disable the DRL's onb my 91 4Runner. I pull the pannel in front of shifter , undo the 2 screws that hold the running light relay bracket, and pull the relay out to where I could better gain access to the wires. I spin it around, unplug the connector , and find that it has two yellow w/ red wires. So my question now is.... Is it both I cut or a specific one? Please help....

Did you do a search on here - seems everyone in Canada is trying this mod...

 

try unplugging the drl module first. There is also a relay under there for them. nplugg it and the lights will work with the switch only.

 

I did a search, that's how I know the colour of the wire. I also unplugged the relay - no headlights at all...

 

At connector D4, disconnect PIN 2 (Black/Orange stripe) wire.
Install an inline switch to manually operate DRLs.
