I'm replacing my functional power antenna on my 3rd gen w/ the Taco whip. I don't listen to the radio very often but when I do, I hate the antenna going up and then going down when I turn the radio off. Plus, I don't like the chrome.

I have a few interested people in this antenna but don't have a clue what it's worth. If you guys/gals can chime in, that would be great.

The entire assembly (motor and antenna) go for $145 new from the dealership.

 

I just ordered a flexible "rubber ducky" type of antenna to replace mine from www.antennax.com.

Only like $19.99 total. I am tired of the motorized versions failing.

They have replacement powered antennas from $29.99 also.

 

im intrested in it (cheap?) ive been delaying the replacement of the internals but id consider the entire piece. where are you? ill be in venice on sat AM.

I paid $30 for one from eBay shipped and brand new. Never use it though... Sirius is the only radio that graces my rig!

Sorry, it's sold. Posted in the classifieds and it sold in 30 minutes. I charged $40 shipped for an OEM one, not a generic one.
