CO-Moody/Crystal, Sunday Jan. 15th

I dying to get out wheeling, so I'll put this idea out there. Any takers on heading up there this weekend? I saw a trip-report from Jan. 1st and there was no snow and the forcast is showing good weather.

I've never done these trails, nor have been up to Ft. Collins much so I don't really now where to set a meeting place or time for this trail. So let me know what works.

EDIT: Meet at Gas Station in Ft. Collins at 9:00am, CB Channel 4, Directions to meet place:

"Come up I-25 North to the Harmony exit #265, Harmony WEST. Head West a 5 or 6 miles. You'll pass a number of streets, including Timberline, Lemay, then College Ave (AKA hwy 287) then Shields. The road will curve right, then left. Then you'll come to a light, and on the Northwest corner of this light is a gas station with a carwash"

For people in Denver area who wish to meet up and roll there together. We are meeting at the Shell Gas Station at 104th and I-25 at 7:30am

I went on New Year's eve day and it was awesome. The ice on the trails made it tricky on Crystal Mountain, but Moody Hill was fairly tame. There is an easy gas station to meet at, below Horsetooth reservoir (I forget the cross streets, I think Harmony and Taft maybe) and BlueTaco at CoTTORA knows all the spur roads and obstacles. He's very familiar with it. You can count me in for sure, and I'll see if I can enlist a couple of folks.

Cool, sounds good to me, I'll probably need to get a little more specific directions there. I've only been up Ft. Collins way twice, so I really have no clue where anything is.

Whats a good time for all of you? I'm not good at deciding times cause I like to sleep in, so Ill do whatever is more convenient for all of you.

I will be there. I think for a time maybe like 8:30 or 9. I've never done these trails before so I don't know how long it's going to take. I can be up there when ever you guys decide.

Wow! As drunk as I was when I wrote them, those directions actually look correct in the sober light of day!

Okay, so 8:30 - 9 am at the gas station that Spindleshanks mentioned. Give or I'm not sure how long it will take to get there. Ill probably meet up with Ric somewhere and then head out.

Ric I'd end up coming out your way, so wherever you want to meet up at I'll be there.

8:30 to 9AM it is then!
Does anybody know the trail real well? I know how to get there, but I only know the trail just well enough to get everyone lost up there.
