engine choices

Ok my engine blew earlier this week i slung a rod through the block and i was wonderin what kind of engines will fir with my transmission without any problems and if i have to get a new transmission i have a 95 4runner automatic 4x4 any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Assuming you have the 3.0 V6, a 3.4 will bolt right up...
