what are these wires?

first of all, hi everyone, this is my first post and i wanted to be polite and introduce...my name is chuck, i'm in concord NC, and i just bought an 85 4runner, EFI.

been busy working out some kinks in the new ride, one of which was no reverse lights. so in the process of diagnosing, i have found some "homeless" wires...and i was wondering if anyone could help me identify what they are/where they go. thanks!
i have added "labels" to some of the pics so you can easily reference them in your replies.

first, i found these on the passenger side, dangling down from a harness, just above the oil filter...

these were hanging down, obviously, from above the fuse box..haha

and i was wondering if this is the switch for the reverse lights, there are no wires anywhere near it...it's on the drivers side of the 5 speed tranny...
the second picture i found hanging near/on the t-case on the passenger side...

ok so aside from my amateur photography and image editing technique...anybody think they could lend a hand? i guess my main goal is to get the reverse lights working, but i also don't want to leave out anything that may be important! thanks in advance for your patience and input!

If I remember correctly the wire by the transfer case is the backup one - but it has been a long time since I had my 85.

I belive "E" in the first picture never did have a home in mine either (I remember there were a couple of others but I can't remember what they looked like

The second picture by the fuse box...the blue one is the power WINDOW hook up for the door and I think the other is the power locks perhaps. There are either 2 or 3 connections for the powered doors...don't remember.

I'd suggest looking here www.4crawler.com as he has everything you'd ever want to know about a 1st gen 4Runner and buying a FSM.

well, since i don't have power doors then i suppose i'm in good shape there ...do you guys think the plugs in the first pic may be mostly power windows/doors type stuff? i've been to 4crawler before, maybe i need to spend a little more time there! thanks!

The danglers near the starer are for the automatic I beleive ( my 85 has em too, but the FSM doesnt show em ). I think wabbit is dead on about the powerdoors

There is a wire on the driver side transmision that does something,( just hooked mine up and I have no idea ((clutch cancel ??? 85s didn't have em but they are the same on the 86ups)) The one one the passenger side Tcase is for the 4x4 indicator light. They connect to the danglers.

There were no power door locks on any 85. Odd the wires would be in the harness...
