How to you remove it? I need to replace the little white power wire that runs from the battery to the fuse panel. I did a search but didn't find anything.

look carefully and youll see a clip that you can unclip and remove the cover. this is not rocket science

How do you remove this? Not the entire panel just the inner section where the fuses are.

do you have photoshop or some drawing program where you can draw a line or mark the "fuse panel" that you are trying to pull off?

you have to remove the entire thing, then put a screwdriver in the bottom and 'pop' that section out. that'll give you access to each fuses wiring.

 

Why do you need to pull the whole fuse box out if you're just replacing the white wire...??

From your picutre I know what you are talking about... the white cable or wire is not present , it connects to the lower left corner stud and runs through the top left hole then to the battery-- I have two power wires connected at this point and did'nt have to remove the box at all...

Can you be more specific on what you are trying to do...???

 

he is trying to remove that area with the minifuses, that requires removing that whole thing so you can access the bottom.

 

I'm trying to remove the panel where all of the fuses are. I can see that there are 3 tabs that need to be uncliped, which I did. The front part of the panel comes out a little way, the back (closest to the fender) doesn't move at all. I'm trying to remove this so that I can replace the white wire. Right now I have sodered with another piece of wire and it looks like crap.

Does anyone have a FSM that they can look at and maybe post a pic on how to remove it, I'm sure that is pretty detailed.

 

pulling the relays will help, there are 2 more clips in there iirc.
that wont let it pull ALL the way out though, but might be enough for you

Weekend bump so that I can try and remove it this weekend

 

i removed it in about 2 min, i just pulled everything out. it's really easy.
i don't remember which clips were by which relay... so no help there.

 

You can't replace the white wire without pulling the whole thing. hacve you looked at yours to see the white wire and how it is routed? Might want to and you'll see.

 

I figured it out thank you to Crappled the realy that you need to remove is the large black one closet to the fender.
