Anyone know a good place for a reasonably priced shortblock? My head is all new so I really don’t need (nor can I afford) a longblock.

I’m trying to figure out if I should buy a already assembled, refurbished shortblock or just rebuild a donar block which I can get from a fellow club member for $100.

You can have mine for free in Spokane WA. needs to be rebuilt but Im never going to do anything with it.

I would spend the $100.00 get that rebuilt .

I trust Vermint has a Machine shop that can do the machine worked needed to get this going.

I would give you a block but it is cheaper to pay the $100.00 and be done.

 

Toyota still sells the short block. You will know it was built right...
