Q? Does my 93 V6 really have a learning ECU

I disconnected the battery Monday night for an hour while I was installing an ignition kill switch.

Truck really did not seem to be running as well (seat of pants) yesterday.

Is the ECU in my 93 really a learning ECU ? I know my 96 and 99's were and you could tell the results but my 93 ?

Thanks

David

It should return to normal after a while. If not, there is something else wrong.

So the answer is yes.

I was not doubting the function, merely that my 1993 would have this style of ECU.

I am now edumacting it by regulary trying to get to 5k rpm in 2nd and 3rd.

If it is a learning ECU, it will either learn to live with me or shut down altogether
