my purchase at Toyota this afternoon

went to the local Toyota dealership this afternoon after doing some research and some legwork, meaning to do business.

the result: '06 Tacoma Double Cab, 4x4, TRD off road, towing, auto, 6 disc changer, radiant red.

they're having it shipped over on monday, and i should be picking it up on tuesday early evening. i'll try to get some pictures up ASAP, but my lack of digital camera may cause some delay with that.

when i pick it up, i'll be signing the rest of the paperwork for financing and the like. i'm very excited, and i'm sure i will be very pleased with the truck.

it will probably be staying stock for quite some time, at least until my MR2 is back up and running strong, BUT this is only temporary. i'm sure i'll do plenty of research on here and other forums so that when the time comes, i'll only have to lift it once, etc...

I am amazed how people will spend what? 27 grand on a vehicle but haven't spent $150 for a digital camera. No offense meant, but think about it. A camera seems like a natural extension of any love. Splurge!!!

I was thinking the same thing. But since Demello's already doing a SAS, he should instead be the first to throw a long travel kit on it.

Just have the finance company finance a extra few thousand for you!!

I don't understand the obsession of asking for pics of a stock truck. You want pictures, try....
