Wondering if any of you locals have been there before?
My wife/kid and I were coming back from Ocean Shores when we decided to check it out.
I asked the girl at the booth if there was any trails for 4x4s. She pointed me in the direction of where it was located.
I went around the bend to find myself at the base of a pretty knarly muddy hill climb. So I stuck it in 4low a preceded up. At the top it led off into several trails but my wife advised that she didn't want our 7month old boy getting his head jarred all over so we opted to head back down the hill and head home. You would not believe the hole in the gut feeling I had of not being able to explore that.
So I ask, has any of you guys checked this out. Is it worth a return trip. From what I saw at the base of that hill, there were quite a few trails leading off in the woods. I also felt kinda outa place cuz the place was surrounded by jeeps.

 

I've often wondered about that place. I'd like to explore it someday. Perhaps the you would feel better around those Jeepers if you were accompanied by several other sweet 4Runners!

 

Well, as someone who does ride in the Capital Forest on my dirt bike, I have ridden into the park from the trails, but never stayed over, there is Jeep racing there, all kinds of 4 wheeling, dirt tracks etc. The place is busy on the weekends!
