Fogs on TJM

Has anyone put fogs on the lower part of the TJM T-15??

If so, which did you use, do you have any pics.

What fogs do you guys suggest me getting for those?

I like option 1. i think they will fit nicely in the holes. I also want to do something for here but i'm nervous to spend that much on a fog light that might get trashed. Let us know what u wind up doing. I'm very interested. i thought that they might get trashed if i hit a snowbank or something like that but i have no clue. maybe they will be more secure that i originally thought.

Matt and I were talking about this last week. I suggested some expanded metal to cover all 4 holes in the lower of the TJM. It can be painted black to match and would would protect the lights rather well.

im getting a tjm very soon...(waiting on him to find a stock bumper, ranski, hes on the board) and i had a few questions, on and off topic

1. will a milemarker 12,000lb winch fit?
2. how do the turn signals work out? (does tjm come w/ bulbs/wires?)
3. is the biggest light that i can fit in the tjm15 a 6" round?
4. how big are those 4 rectangular holes at the bottom, and are those meant for fog lights?

thanks guys

1. Im not sure if the milemarker 12,000lb would fit. You would defiantely have to strengthen your frame for it. I believe steve shafer did this.
2. The tjm uses your factory turn signal harness. You just cut off the ends(plugs) of the harness that goes into the factory turn signal. you then solder a new connection to the TJM turn signals
3. You can fit lightforces on the t-15 so im pretty sure anything will fit.
4. Im not sure if the small holes on the bottom are meant for fogs. Maybe they do something for cooling?

there was a guy who put fogs into the tjm already .... I can't remember his screen name. there is a bracket you can order from TJM for it .. and then he was able to put fogs into the bumper .. and then he drilled a hole in the turn signal mirror and relocated the turn signal over there.

I think i remember seeing that. I believe the install wasnt completely flush though. It seems like a lot of work just to throw some fogs in. LOL Thanks for the info though! (and thanks for the pic)

no problem ... I miss seeing it like that sometimes.

Also the area you marked off to put fogs in, probably isn't the best spot. The metal there is thin, and there is quite a gap between the bumper and the radiater behind it. You would have to fab up some really nice custom brackets to make it work.

do people strengthen the frame for the warn m8000...thats the other winch i was considering getting. the only reason i would probably get the milemarker is because my friend is selling it for 200 (parting out truck). i know warn is better and its always nice to have the comfort of having a warn blah blah blah, but the milemarker is in great condition, seen him use it recently, no problems....ok hijack over, thanks for the answers
