I used to live in Carefree in high school/college and I wheeled my 94 4runner all through the mountains just north of Elephant Butte and all around the camp creek area.
Speaking of Camp Creek, is it open north of Bartlett Dam Road yet? I was out there about a month or so ago and it was closed off, first time ever that I have seen that. I know the road got flooded out and I assume there was some downed trees or potentially dangerous areas upstream with unstable trees or something?? I have not checked it out lately.
