Question Radiator leak or condensation?

Yesterday I noticed a puddle of water (about the size of an 8" pizza) in the carport after my husband drove off.

Can anyone tell me how I can determine whether it is a radiator leak, condensation from the air conditioner, or something else? The vehicle was on the highway for 3.5 hrs., shut off for about an hour, and then my husband left with it for an errand.

TIA
Pat

is it clear? and does his truck have a/c? if his a/c was being used, thats probably what it is from....

my bosses truck leaks huge puddles of water... i tracked it down though, and its coming from the exhuast... right where 2 pipes meet and htere is a rusted muffler clamp.....

Probably A/C condensation if the vehicle was running the AC.

Check next time the truck gets parked. If it is condensation from the A/C, you will see water dripping just slightly behind the front passenger tire. If you were to look from underneath the vehicle, up into the engine compartment, you will see that it's coming from a small drain tube which goes through the firewall.

If it was a radiator leak, you'd know it. The fluid puddle would be red or green (depending on the year of your vehicle) instead of clear like water.

stick your finger in the puddle...if the liquid feels kinda sticky and smells kinda sweet, it's radiator fluid. if it looks and feels like water, it's prolly just condensation...which is more likely the case.

Thanks for your comments everyone. The fluid is clear, not sticky and it doesn't appear to be radiator fluid...whew!
