Recently there has been a weird clunking noise coming from the fan/pully area in my 98 4runner (4cyl).I was wondering if any of guys had this same problem and if so what was the problem? Please help i dont want to pay big $ to take it into a place to get it fix if i can do it myself.

 

And another noise i have is a nasty vibration in the driverside mirror. It starts at about 60mph and the rataling transfer into the tweeter in the door. I checked the screws and they all look fine.

 

It could be your fan clutch, mine went out not too long ago. A new one is about 40 bucks.
