Lift comming any suggestions??

I just ordered the OME medium coil springs and the ball joint spacers. I can hardly wait. I hope it arrives in time for my nephew to help with the install. Any tips on the install that I should be aware of? I want to make it as easy and quick as possible as we are going to go wheeling the next day or two.
- now I just need to convince my wife we need new tires, hehehe

Bj spacers take time much more than I expected. Installation Instructions says: "Knock the studs out of the joint with a small hammer." Ok, I knocked, one pop up, then nothing happens although I took 5 kg hammer (10 lbs). They were rusted and stuck. (salted roads in winter, I hate it!!!) So, I cut them with cuttoff wheel and tried to drill them out. Well, the twist drill broke. Then I took the joint off the arm and tried to knock them in vice. The vice bursted. Yes yes! So I cut off the rest I got and drill again. Then I got them out. It took 3-4 hours! Maybe I should had to buy the new joint. The other side was easier, but not easy either (one stud stucked).

So, you have winter there in Canada too (maybe also rust). Reserve time enough and a little bit more.

P.S. Have you made your decision of tires yet?

Good tips on the ball joints. Did you spay them down with oil a few days before to help loosen them.

I haven't made my decisopn with the tires yet but I am getting closer. We jacked the truck the other day to se what it would look like and it looked a little goofy with the 31" tires. I am going to wait and see what the end result will be with the lift kit on. I am down to two options

1) a mud & snow tire (31")
2) the 33 x 10.5 BFG's

I drive this truck primarly in the winter and in the bush so I am unsure of how well the BFG's wil be on the ice

I can't wait for my lift!!!!

take your time when grinding the upper A arm for the BJ spacers, i agree wiht matt that its almost easier to get new balljoints then to try pounding the studs out. i live on the west coast so NO rust and i still had problems getting them out even with an air impact hammer and a 5lb'er. get strut compressers even though you dont have struts to compress the coil springs. maybe a no brainer, but take the spare tire off, makes SO much more room to work with. i just did this last month (but with LC coils) let me know if you have any questions.

No, the nuts were easy to remove and it´s not able to get any oil between studs and ball joint. Studs are like these:

But yes, I oiled the front shocks upper twist a day before.
