funky noise in front left suspension

I was driving up a STEEP hill tonight...yes it was paved..and and before i could do anything there was a freaking log right there...anyways due to on coming traffic i had no choice but to drive over it...i was going pretty fast and i scraped the undercarrige on something...my friend who was driving behind me said i only hit the front which seems to be the problem.

whats happening is occuring ONLY when turning left. and when going over bumps

since im not in 4WD this leads me to belive that its the balljoint..i checked undertneith and everything looks in good order

i dont think i can be the CV since thers no power going to them right now

anyone who as input please let me know..

also if anyone near pittsburgh could take a look at it 2marrow i would GREATLY apprciate it.

Busted or bent shock I am willing to bet. Has happen to me before! Though it could be the ball joint. Is the sound a creaking sound or poping. Reason I say shock cause if the shock it bent or dented internally it will hit that spot and bind causing a creaking and/or poping sound! Stand on the bumper and bouce the truck up and down hard and listen for noises! just a thought
