i got the demello hybrid sliders the day before we left for the big bear trip. these weld-on sliders are a combination of square and round tubes. they definitely made a difference, not just in protecting the rocker panels, but giving me the peace of mind that i've got some armor underneath. they're solidly made and jason did a great job welding them on. i'm glad i went with the powder coating instead of the rattle can approach. the only thing i'd change if i were to do this all over again, would be to have gotten the sliders tucked closer into the frame so that the square bars are further in. this is something i'm sure jason can accomadate. other than that, definitely look into the demello sliders if you're considering weld ons.
