Can i use either tranny. Looks to bolt up same and shafts seem same mounting location. Just that the shifter on w56 is on left side and shifter is on right side of mine the g 52. Will the w56 trans bolt up and work with w56 t case on my 22r motor that had the g52??? Or any other tranyy combo work as well???

W56 will bolt right up, as long as you have a top shift or later style W56 with a forward shift case(note: G52 and W56 forward cases aren't interchangeable unless you swap the shift rods -- the G52 rods are longer and will bottom out in the back of the W56 tranny). might just have to modify your shifter holes.
