Hi,

I installed a Warn M8000 winch into my TJM T-17 bumper and found that the clutch arm won't clear in the built-in cutout for it. I've tried rotating the clutch, but it still hits the sides either way. I don't want to do any cutting.

I've tried emailing TJM, but never got a response from them. I've tried contacting Warn to see if they maybe had a longer clutch arm, but all they said was that I had to go through a dealer. That they don't deal w/the public. Sounds like Warn is becoming just like Ramsey w/regards to any service.

You would think that TJM would of designed the cutout to fit a least a Warn winch, since they are the most popular.

ttt - I'd like to see if anyone knows this as I plan to mount prolly this exact winch.
