DFW area welders

I should be getting my sliders in from 4Crawler (thanks, Roger!) next week, and need to find someone to weld them on for me. Do you guys have experience with anyone in particular, or any shop in particular, that you'd recommend??

Thanks for your help!!

Justin Holt at Rocktek Engineering (www.rocktekcustomz.com) in Grapevine is the best fabricator around IMO. He's in Grapevine (817 329 4297).

He builds solid stuff and is priced right... he will weld on other guys stuff also. I think he has helped most everybody up here at one time or another. You'll also get to see my SAS Taco project if you drop by

beating the hell out of the frame and body by driving over boulders on Sunday while my sliders sat envious in the garage.

i emailed a bunch of local 4x4 shops and so far all of them seem to be out of town for awhile, so it looks like it'll be awhile before i get them welded on.

I'm telling you, give Justin a shot. I'll be headed over there next week after work sometime if you want to tag along. I need to get a layout for sliders on my wife's FJ80 and visit my Tacoma.

Chris, that'd be awesome ... I'd love to take along and maybe follow you over there in my truck and see what he says as far as cost and time it'll take. Someone told me it'd take 24 hours ... and that they charge $65/hour ... so that scared me a bit! Anyway, let me know when you're going and perhaps I'll try to get you to let me follow you. I'd love to see your Taco too, by the way!!
