power antenna not operating correctly.

the power antenna isnt working on my 1993 4runner. it goes about 8 inchs up then stops and it makes grinding noises. then it will not go back down without my help. not a huge deal but still kinda makes me mad.

I got a mast for you for $25.
Brand new, still in package. For a 1992 so it should fit.

Unscrew top nut, turn radio on, let motor stop. Pull out antenna and "zip cord", noting which direction the teeth are facing. Stick new antenna in, turn off radio and allow motor to suck in the new cord. Screw top nut back on.
