the power antenna isnt working on my 1993 4runner. it goes about 8 inchs up then stops and it makes grinding noises. then it will not go back down without my help. not a huge deal but still kinda makes me mad.

how do i go about doing that? can i get one from a junk yard or should i get it from the toyota dealership? do you happen to know the pice range of the fix?

I got a mast for you for $25.
Brand new, still in package. For a 1992 so it should fit.

what does it take to install one. if I can do it then i might buy that antenna
Unscrew top nut, turn radio on, let motor stop. Pull out antenna and "zip cord", noting which direction the teeth are facing. Stick new antenna in, turn off radio and allow motor to suck in the new cord. Screw top nut back on.Originally Posted by byron4
